Meet the Doctor: Dr. Meaghan S. Brent, D.C., C.A.C.C.P.
Dr. Meaghan Brent obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Michigan State University. Dr. Brent completed her senior residency program as a chiropractic intern at the Yorkshire Logan Health Center, in St. Louis, MO. There, she was responsible for managing patient care, taking and processing radiographs, performing chiropractic adjustments, and providing rehabilitative exercises and therapies. She also gained experience working with athletes in the Biofreeze Sports and Rehabilitation Clinic in Chesterfield, MO. In the Biofreeze clinic, Dr. Brent was responsible for overseeing and assisting fellow interns with rehab treatments. She also gained clinical experience by participating in rotations working with athletes at the University of Missouri, Jefferson College, and Lindenwood University.
Dr. Meaghan Brent is trained in Diversified, Logan Basic, Cox Flexion-Distraction, Thompson, Sacral-Occipital Technique, and Graston soft tissue technique. Additionally, she is Webster Technique Certified, and continues to study pregnancy and pediatric care, along with other alternative therapies, to help improve the health and quality of life of her patients. Dr. Brent is dedicated to the field of family chiropractic and is Certified from the Academy of Family Practice and Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP). She is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Michigan Association of Chiropractors, the Michigan Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and the American Pregnancy Association.
Dr. Brent was also selected as part of Jackson Magazine's 30 & Under Class of 2011 for her outstanding service to the Jackson Community.
